Diving and Tumbling Camp

Join us for Champions + Westwood County Club’s 9th Year of Dive Camp! Three awesome stations that include air-track, tumbling, mini-tramps, a springboard progression station, the pool spring diving board, and pool games! From beginning dive approaches and how to get the most out of the board, to jumps, racing dives, front-back dives, and flips, it’s as far as the talent progresses! We have broken down skill lesson plans so everyone feels like Champions!

  • Ages: 5-10 years (Must be a strong swimmer. Campers are divided into groups by age, ability and friends.)
  • Monday through Thursday with Friday as back-up weather day

  • You should receive an email about a week before camp with more Dive Camp information, including group lists.
  • For drop off and pick-up, please CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT your child with the Champions Coaches at the poolside camp table area by the diving boards.
  • A light snack is provided (or feel free to send your own). Please no peanuts. Water bottles are a good idea for all campers.
  • What to wear: please have your camper wear a bathing suit that won’t slip or slide and is snug enough to withstand plunges and flipping. Please have sunscreen already applied. At halfway point, we can re-apply if you send some with your child.
  • In case of an emergency during camp hours, please call Trey at Westwood at 453-7246 or the Champions office 512-628-1788.
  • Please label everything with your child’s name.

REGISTRATION, PRICING AND FEES

  • TO REGISTER: Please register and pay at Westwood Country Club. You must be a member of Westwood Country Club to participate and register in the Dive Camp. You will also need to create an online account with Champions by clicking here if you don’t already have one (this account is required so Champions Coaches have access to your emergency info, camper info, and release). Our coaches will use this to get in contact with you and so they can be aware of any allergies or special health concerns your child may have. As camps fill, we will begin the waitlist in the order requests are received.
  • The $35 Special Events Fee will be waived once for un-enrolled “friends” of Champions. Champions enrolled in our classes and teams (or who paid this once during the last school year session) will not have to pay our Special Events Fee because it’s included in our Student Activity Fee.
  • There will be a $10 fee for late pickup.
  • Refund Policy: Staff is hired and supplies are bought and prepared based on number of enrolled children in each age group. In order to prepare a first-rate “out of this world” camp experience for your child, Champions devotes an extraordinary amount of time and effort to plan and purchase age appropriate crafts, activities and staff with each specific child in mind. On that note, we hope you will understand that our refund policy is as follows: if you notify us of a cancellation three weeks or more prior to your scheduled camp date, you will recieve a 50% refund. In the event of a cancellation with less than a three week notice, we will not be able to give a refund. Of course we are always willing to listen to special circumstances to be reviewed by our executive directors on a case-by-case basis.
