Our Champions Cheer Legacy coaches are committed to providing quality coaching with the most up to date cheer coaching techniques learned from attending All-Star Cheer Conferences and coach credentialing. All Star teams practice twice a week and compete at 6-7 competitions throughout the year.  Some of these competitions will require traveling to other cities and potentially other states.  The athletes on these teams will compete against teams from all over the nation.  A forward roll, cartwheel, round-off and back-walkover are required to make a team.

D2 Summit and The One Championships are competitions that are held in April and May 2018. These competitions require a bid, awarded at participating competitions to teams with the highest level of perfection.  These competitions are NOT part of your competition fees for the season.  A separate meeting will be held with each team if a bid is received to determine how to proceed.

All Star Prep is a great way to get into the wide world of competitive cheerleading.  These athletes will practice once a week and compete at 2-4 competitions.  All of these competitions are one day events and local to the Austin – San Antonio area.  All Star Prep athletes are charged a discounted tuition as well as a discounted apparel package.

So What’s the Difference?

All Star athletes compete a 2:30 minute routine filled with choreographed stunts, tumbling, jumps, dancing, pyramids, and baskets.  All Star Prep athletes compete a 2:00 minute routine that is very similar.  The routine is choreographed like an All Star routine, however, there are no baskets in All Star Prep.

legacy5Hear it from our families:

“Being a part of the Legacy family has taught me great responsibility and has driven each and everyone of us to achieve what we were scared to do before.  Thank you for such an amazing year!”  - Legacy Team Member

“Competition today was so fantastic! Now that I have a better sense of the cheer world, I wanted to take minute to thank the coaches for selecting uniforms that allow our girls’ athleticism and spirit to shine through in an age-appropriate way. I also love that our choreography showcases our girls’ skills without relying on exaggerated “pageant faces” or egregious booty-shaking. Super proud of our Legacy girls!” – Legacy Mom

“It is a fun team-building activity, where you work hard, make good friends and have fun competing.  Everyone is an important part of the team and coaches encourage us to do our best.  I’m proud to be a part of the Legacy Storm Team!” –  Legacy Team Member

“Champions is so cool. Everyone was so nice and it was fun being on the same team with all my friends in cheerleading!”  - Legacy Team Member
